If the Beast refuses to do his part in prophecy then prophecy can not happen.

Can the Living God command the Beast to obey prophecy, and the Beast obey?

I know the Beast can utterly refuse God's command in regards to prophecy.

Thanks Willie. I agree with what you've written, I'm just at a loss to explain why the last 3 conjunctions with this object have coincided with massive earthquakes. The point is, as you've reiterated, we just need to be prepared regardless of what's potentially coming this fall. We are in the end times and those who don't prepare are foolish.

First off I will agree with Oak and say that the calamities of the last days are already occurring. No attentive, thinking person can deny that. Also, the end of the end times is just as likely to occur tomorrow as this September and October. We should ALL be preparing. Thank you, Oak, for keeping an eye out for us, your neighbors. That is the mark of a truly faithful disciple.

I was very intrigued by the above YouTube video. So I started doing some calculations myself. And I have concluded that Elenin is not a neutron star -- nowhere near it. The trajectory of the comet would look nothing like it actually does. In fact, our own sun would be noticeably orbiting Elenin, which it is not. The typical neutron star is right around 1.7 times the mass of the sun. Like all forces, gravity is a two way street (remember Newton's third law). An object of that mass would have been detectable centuries ago (possibly by Kepler in 1595 with his Mysterium Cosmographicum). It would distort all of the orbits of all of the planets.

The video's claim that alignments cause earthquakes made sense... until I realized that such alignments happen all the time with objects far more massive than this comet. We are all familiar with solar and lunar eclipses. These alignments are regularly accompanied by the alignments of other nearby planets. These events come and go without us noticing. With all of the alignments and all of the severe earthquakes going on these days, the chance that they will occur within a 4-5 day window of each other is higher than we might think.

With all that said, I would like to take this opportunity to add my voice to Oak's as one of warning. Though comet Elenin is not (currently) a threat to our planet, we know that catastrophes WILL befall us preceding the coming of Christ. I know that Christ lives and the day he comes to reign will be one of unimaginable glory. I pray that we will all be sufficiently prepared, temporally and spiritually, for that great day.

Thanks again, Oak, for the post. Keep em' comin! I'm only challenging the claims of the video, nothing else you've written here.
